Nikki Perry,

I’m Nikki Perry — a storyteller at heart and a local government communicator by trade. After seven years as a newspaper journalist, I spent more than a decade inside city and county governments, serving as Public Information Officer for Hall County and communications director for the cities of Lilburn and Gainesville. Along the way, I learned what it really takes to connect residents with the people, services, and decisions that shape their communities. In 2019, I launched my consulting practice to help spark better communication and more transparent government.
Today, I work with cities, counties, and public safety agencies across Georgia to develop practical communication strategies, accessible content, and systems that help small teams do more with limited time and resources. Through my ongoing work with the Georgia Municipal Association and local governments throughout the state, I stay closely connected to the evolving challenges cities face.
